Green belts have been developed over the years around our plant and mining sites, converting waste into a thriving habitat that not only prevents dust in the air but also absorbs its harmful carcinogenic effects. On 8th February 2025, we organized ‘The Honest Check-Up’ Camp at the Community Hall, Mynkre Village, Meghalaya, offering free eye and general health consultations to those in need. TAJ Cement has undertaken many green plantation programme. On the occasion of World Environment Day, TAJ CEMENT organized a tree plantation drive where they planted trees and made a sincere effort in making earth a better place for the future generation.
Green belts in and around the plant and mine areas, achieved after years of hard work, have transformed the land around our sites to greener habitats. The green belt counteracts the negative impact of mining by reducing dust pollution and absorbing carbon emissions.
We are also committed in shifting business priorities by using business intelligence to not only save on cost but also to become environment aware.
