Green Policy

one of the largest Cement manufacturing
companies in the North East

The continued depletion of natural resources has led corporations that have large energy requirements to become more environmentally aware than ever. This is because not only do green initiatives save on costs, reuse resources and meet compliance requirements, but they also help to create brand recognition among customers.

TAJ Cement has undertaken many green plantation programme. On the occasion of World Environment Day, TAJ CEMENT organized a tree plantation drive where they planted trees and made a sincere effort in making earth a better place for the future generation.

Green belts in and around the plant and mine areas, achieved after years of hard work, have transformed the land around our sites to greener habitats. The green belt counteracts the negative impact of mining by reducing dust pollution and absorbing carbon emissions.

We are also committed in shifting business priorities by using business intelligence to not only save on cost but also to become environment aware.

Companies that are seen as being environmentally sensitive tend to create a vision of care. This provides the benefit of perceptions and practicality with the broader effects going beyond the organization. As more companies come to realize the importance, and financial benefits, of environmental sustainability and green supply chain practices, the day is not far away when we will be able to achieve what we set out for—a greener planet
